Krepps Named to Olympic Team Coaching Staff
(January 29, 2010)
Olympic fever is sweeping over the Saville Sports Centre (SSC) with the announcement that the SSC’s Curling Manager, Rob Krepps, has been added to the coaching staff of the Cheryl Bernard rink – Team Canada at the upcoming 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
In addition to managing the SSC’s curling program, Krepps also serves as the head coach of the National Training Centre at the SSC. This will be Krepps’ first Olympic experience, but he is no stranger to international competition as he has been part of Canada’s coaching staff at the past two women’s world curling championships.
The Edmonton Journal’s Mario Annicchiarico wrote a great article detailing Krepps’ role at the upcoming Olympics. For those of you who have not seen that article, you can click here to read it.
Congratulations Rob on this outstanding achievement – all the members and the staff of the SSC wish you and the entire Canadian team all the best in Vancouver!
