Reminder - Team Martin Olympic Send-Off Party is this Thursday

We want to remind all SSC members that we will be hosting a party for Team Martin this Thursday (February 4th) at 8:00PM in the Balmoral Lounge before the team leaves for Vancouver to represent Canada at the 2010 Olympics.
Remember to wear your red and white and join us as we wish the team all the best at the upcoming Games. Team Canada, which includes Kevin Martin (skip), John Morris (third), Marc Kennedy (second), Ben Hebert (lead), Adam Enright (alternate), and Jules Owchar (coach), will be on-hand to meet and greet, and light snacks will be served.
This will be the third Olympic appearance for Martin and Owchar, who won silver in Salt Lake City in 2002 and finished fourth in Albertville in 1992. The rest of the team will be competing in their first Olympics, but are not without experience on the international stage, in that they have represented Canada at the last two World Championships.
We hope to see many of you this Thursday night at the SSC to cheer on Team Canada as they prepare to take on the world’s best in Vancouver.
