A Commitment to Professional Coaching & Instruction
One element that sets the Saville Sports Centre (SSC) apart from virtually any other facility is our ongoing commitment to professional coaching and instruction. In fact, regardless of your current skill level, the SSC is ready, willing, and able to help you improve your game.
The SSC’s coaching and instructional program has been designed by our Curling Manager and Head Coach, Rob Krepps, who is also a National Team Coach with the Canadian Curling Association (CCA). In an effort to provide curlers with the support that they need, this program is organized under 2 broad headings: National Training Centre and Pure Curling Academy.
The SSC has recently been designated as a CCA National Training Centre, and in this capacity is pleased to provide support to many of Canada’s top curlers. This support includes innovative curling programs, accessible practice opportunities, and state-of-the-art equipment, and is aimed at producing exceptional performances both nationally and internationally.
Our commitment to professional instruction does not stop with elite curlers, and that’s what the Pure Curling Academy is all about. Pure Curling Academy has been established to provide previously unavailable programs and services to club-level curlers. Included here are our innovative Smart Start and Rookie League programs.
